TFAI Cooking Class

Service Description

You and your child will learn basic skills, become confident with ingredients, and get chef-guided hands-on experience. Every session teaches the concept of mise en place (kitchen organization) and includes food safety knowledge. Additionally, each new lesson will focus on foundational cooking skills that transfer to other tasks: knife skills, sauces, cooking methods, dough skills, etc. Content aimed at children age 8-13. Contact Chef Kel with questions. Fall 2024 semester includes 14 classes Tuesday from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm at First Baptist Titusville. An adult must attend and participate with the child/children - this is not a "drop off" situation. No charge for the accompanying adult. Fall 2024 class dates are as follows: Aug 13, 20, 27 Sep 3, 10, 24 Oct 1, 8, 22, 29 Nov 5, 12 Dec 3, 10 You may pay for the entire semester and secure your child's place in the class at a reduced rate of $18/class. Alternatively, you may purchase a Five Class Plan and select five sessions to attend during the semester for a slight upcharge ($20/class). These will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Finally, if a seat is still available, you may purchase a single class at the standard rate of $22. Class size is set at 8 students. Choose which sessions you want to attend by scrolling through the calendar and selecting the time.
