Summer Kel's Kitchen Culinary Kids

Service Description

It's time for Kel's Kitchen Summer Culinary Kids program. Join Chef Kel at Faith Lutheran Church in Merritt Island every other Thursday! This class is aimed at children age 8 and up with an accompanying adult. You and your child will learn basic skills, become confident with ingredients, and get chef-guided hands-on experience. Every session teaches the concept of mise en place (kitchen organization) and includes food safety knowledge. Additionally, each new lesson will focus on foundational cooking skills that transfer to other tasks: knife skills, sauces, cooking methods, dough skills, etc. Classes are every other Thursday from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm. An adult must attend and participate with the child/children - this is not a "drop off" situation. Choose which sessions you want to attend and register for them below. Class size will be limited. $20 per class for a child/adult pair.

Cancelation Policy

For Local and Online Classes: To cancel or reschedule, please contact me at least 5 days in advance. A full refund can be offered only if 5 days notice is given. A credit toward a future event or a transfer to a friend is available up to 1 day before the event. For Private Events: Please notify me at least 7 days prior for full refund, 4-6 days prior for credit toward a future event. If cancelling 3 days (72 hours) or less prior to the event no refund or credit is available.
