Service Description

This class is a fun, hands-on educational event where you will learn to make and cook your own flour tortillas. What a nice change from store-bought products that have been on the shelf who-knows-how-long! Chef Kel will describe how to make pork carnitas in a slow cooker, oven, or smoker. We'll put a pot of seasoned black beans on to simmer and make a corn salsa and guacamole to serve alongside. Class is held in the enclosed and air conditioned party pavilion at The Great Outdoors. It is open to the public. Guests stop at the gate for a parking pass and then proceed towards Plantation Manor. Pass the Manor and park by the tennis courts on your left. The Pavilion is behind the Manor and the tennis courts. Please park in the lot by the courts and walk between them to the Pavilion. Class time is 5:30pm - 7:30 pm.
